Opanka has narrated how he refused a man's help because the man was making sexual advances at him.

The rapper recounted how the gay man was so desperate that he started to mention other musicians that had agreed to his demands just to get support for him.

He explained that although it was in the early stages of his career, he was in no way tempted to accept the man's offer because he could never engage in any form of sexual activity with another man.

According to him, the man loved his songs and was willing to help.

He, however, wanted sexual favours in return.

“This guy called me, we met, I played him my songs and he liked it..but he said he wanted me to do something for him, not knowing this guy was gay... I told him I’m not gay and asked if he was willing to still help me.”

"the rich man tried to convince me by mentioning other musicians who were into the act but I told him I’m not them and I love women.”

Opanka, who has earlier lamented on the various negative effects that the Coronavirus have had on the music industry in the country, further pledged his fealty to women.

In the recent interview, he assured that these trying times too would pass.

"The showbiz industry has been hit massively with numerous shows cancelled. The virus has dealt some musicians a big blow with numerous shows and tours been called off especially as the Easter festivities approach.

''Many musicians and other music industry players have been badly hit as they have been denied their livelihood due to the scale of the outbreak, but we look to God to deliver the country from this virus.

"We are in difficult times but I would do my best to entertain my fans and I entreat all citizens to be calm during and adhere to the precautionary measures that have been issued by relevant authorities,'' he told Ghana News Agency.
