MzVee has stated that Funny Face is in more pain than he appears to be.

The artiste, who has first-hand experience of how bad depression can get, explained that the comedian needs the support of all his colleagues at this point in life.

Funny Face has just recently claimed that he will be taking the Ghana Police Service to court for the sun of $5 million on the grounds of unlawful manhandling and defamation.

The comedian was initially arrested for firing a pump-action gun at a public bar.

It was during the arrest that he claimed his rights had been violated.

This made him start a social media campaign of rants against anyone and anybody that crosses his path.

MzVee has pointed out that his actions are a big sign of depression.

In truth, Funny a face had earlier also claimed that he rants more on social media when he is depressed.

MzVee has addressed the issue while speaking in an interview with Fiifi Pratt on Kingdom Plus FM.

“I know depression very well because I went through it in 2018/2019 so I know he is not ok. I pray he gets the people who love him to come to his aid and to help him get out of this situation,” she said.

She suffered from depression for a year when she was with the Lynx Entertainment group.

Speaking on Citi TV, Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda disclosed that she got to a point where she wanted to stay away from everybody and tried to figure out what was wrong with her.

"I was deeply sad all the time. Very angry all the time, I didn't want to talk to anyone...I was just really away from everybody. Depression gets to a point where you don't even know what in particular is worrying you. It's so many things you've harbored for so long and you explode at a point and you don't know why but you are just sad."

"I've always known that I was not okay but 2018 was the height of everything."

MzVee spoke that her time with God gave her fulfillment defining every moment in the church as “therapeutic”. She acknowledged the inspiration of the Bible and its powerful effect on her life more than anything.

“I started becoming more spiritual, religious and I realised that some people may not understand but going to church was so therapeutic. I don’t know but when I go to church and I leave, I feel so happy,” she said.

"The Bible has a lot of good stuff and so I go to church and I come back ten times better than I was the day before and it's part of the reason I'm feeling this good today. And so, aside from my mum, dad, family, sisters, the church was good," she added.
