Man 58, Found Dead at a Pito Joint At Atebubu

A man, aged 58 years has been found dead in a Pito joint at Atebubu in the Bono East Region.
The incident according to sources happened yesterday 11th February 2021 at Atebubu market known popularly as ‘Konkomba Yam market’.
Speculations claim the decease is a regular customer of the local beer who invariably go to the joint to drink, rest, and most at times fetch firewood for the Pito brewers for money.
Eyewitnesses at the scene said, “Pito was flowing from his nose and mouth with his dog lying beside him.”
Police visited the scene but the family of the deceased had taken the corpse away.
For this reason, they (police) have called on the decease's family to release the body for investigations.
