I Have To Give Up My My Dream - Showboy
Showboy

Showboy has announced that he will be giving up on music.

The US-based Ghanaian artiste uploaded a long epistle on his social media page to accuse the people of Ghana of not supporting him.

As the leader of the 2HYPEGANG, he stated his intention to leave music since no one will offer the support he deserves to him despite all the money he has invested.

He accused the CEO of IGNICE of taking his money without giving him the proper support that was promised.

“I am very sad and as much as I try not to give up on this music dream, I just feel I gotta stop. I have invested a lot in music promo and the Ghana music industry never acknowledge my hard work. I summited 4 music videos ( YE BLOW REMIX, ENE WO NE, INFORMATION, NYAME DADA ) to 4syte and they failed to acknowledge my work. I get sabotaged. I DONT WANT TO COMPARE MY WORK TO ANYBODY BUT I KNOW I DO PUT IN LOTta work than alot of 95% of These mainstream artist in Ghana ..SMH.I don’t know if is because am in prison or what"

"… This is sad … NYAME DADA WAS A GREAt song and as them no nominate am ..ei really hurt my passion waa… I have been trying my best all my life. I don’t know when all this going to pay off ..no support from anywhere .. .just me and my 2hypegang. Why take my money if you don’t respect my hustle… IGNICE CEO OF 4SYTE U ARE WRONG …"

"U ARE KILLING POTENTIALS OUT OF GREED OF MONEY .. HOW DO I GET MOTIVATED TO INVEST IN MORE … IF YALL SABOTAGE ME ..WHAT SHOWS YALL WOULDN’T SABOTAGE ANY OF MY ARTISTS …. SMH …nyame dada is a great song with good content ..yall hate me for real”

The pained artiste used his post as a final sign of withdrawal from music.

It is now left to be seen if he would make his return at some point, or he has thrown in the towel for good.
