Lydia Forson is calling on Ghanaians to stop praying selfish prayers.

The outspoken social media warrior explained that most people pray for God to use others to help them, but they almost always never pray for God to use them to bless others.

In a lengthy post on her Facebook page, noted how it is better for one to ask for direct blessings from God, especially as a Christian instead of having to rely on the benevolence of others.

“Every day God should send you helpers but you di33 your help should be reserved for the bank eh? Yoo. You don’t pray that God should bless you so you can be a blessing to others too.

"Helping people isn’t limited to how much you have, it’s the willingness to help even with the little you have. You maybe be praying for GH 100 and the next person only needs GH 2 of that."

The actress made a mockery of people who always want others to come to their aid, as she voiced out how it was selfish thinking at best.

She further explained, however, that monetary help is not the only way to help as one might donate time and emotional support too.

"You don’t have to wait around to be rich to help others, even being there emotionally, supporting with your time and whatever resources you have is enough.”

"So today as you pray for that big man/woman to get more money to “help” you, pray for yourself to be positioned to help others. Good morning."
