The District Chief Executive for Adansi Asokwa, Hon. Andrews Adu Boahen said his first term in office was a learning one.
Commenting on Shaft FM morning show cited by Soireenews, the DCE indicated that, his first term in office was tough but great.
He praised the district assembly of massive transformation in the education sector saying massive infrastructure was recorded in the education sector since 2018 /19 when he took office as DCE.
On revenue, he added that although the Asokwa District is a newly created district, they did very well on revenue mobilization.
Touching on challenges, he said, some challenges are in the District but measures are in place to robust development in the district before advising the youth to always choose the right course in school for them not to be wasteful after completion.
The DCE said programs that will support the youth in the district will be introduced to eradicate unemployment.
Going forward with the team comprising of the assembly members, Nananom, Police, workers of the assembly, and the general public will work tirelessly to improve the health system and road network in the next year's giving mandate to rule as DCE for the second term.
