Going To “Syto” Schools Cause Lack - Guru

Guru has spoken out against basic government schools.

The rapper, who called the schools by the traditional name "Syto", noted that there are lesser opportunities in the schools than there are in private schools.

According to him, it was only when he got into private schools that he realised that it is better to be in private schools than to be in Syto schools.

Per his words, there is something wrong with such government institutions which have been able to train thousands of doctors, nurses, teachers, and many other professionals.

“We attended “syto” and there is something wrong with “syto”. You will lack …, they lack a lot. It was until I entered into preparatory school (private school) then I realized if I had gotten all that opportunity earlier, I could have been much better than what I was going through in my home town Nkroanza"

This he said while speaking on Starr Fm in an interview.

He then noted that even though he has a staunch rivalry with Kuami Eugene, he admits that the Lynx Entertainment signee is better than he is in the past.

“This is what I want him to do…now you are the artiste of the moment, make use of it, focus on cashing out; take your money. You don’t need hype, you don’t need a trend. Now that you are the artiste of the moment, make use of it”,

“is like you being on top for four years or ten years, if you don’t make use of it, by all means, another person might come”.

“So if you are not focusing on cashing out and having beef, issues with some of us, throwing shades at some of us, then you are just wasting your time”,
