Lydia Forson has accused the people calling Yaw Tog of being jealous of his career.

The actress noted that the people who have been calling out the young star for claiming he made U.K's Stormzy more popular in Ghana.

Per her opinion, the call for artists to be humble is a cover for fans to hide their jealousy.

As an outspoken celebrity on social media argued that critics and fans now use the mask of humility to try and drag celebrities down.

According to her, Yaw Tog has done nothing wrong by noting that he made Stormzy popular and he should not have apologised.

She noted that people were offended by his statement because they know they might never get the chance to do what he did by bringing an established United Kingdom artistes down to Ghana at such a young age.

“He didn’t even have to come and clarify this. Because I immediately understood what he was trying to say. But so many of you decided to react to a short(mischievous)clip meant to get him dragged. All the “humble yourself” people, how far? Let young people be! Ah, you like that.”

“Everyday ‘humble yourself’, ‘humble yourself’. But what they actually mean is, I don’t want you to throw your success in my face so I can feel better about myself. Jokes.”

The request for humility is just conceit and a way to make celebrities feel like less than themselves.

“Ghanaians will ‘humility’ you to death and convince you it’s the ONLY way you will survive. It’s funny to me; like I’ll never be mad at someone saying they’re the best or better. It doesn’t kill my shine when I feel I’m the best too. "Y’all" relax "waii",”

“You’ll be using ‘humility’ to cover up your jealously. Every time someone becomes successful, you position yourself to be judge, jury, manager, and advisor. Why not invest all that advice in yourself if you know so much. Humility monitors.”
