GH¢10,000 is donated by Nana Ama McBrown to help free some prisoners

Nana Ama McBrown, the host of Onua Showtime and a talented actress from Ghana with several awards, gave GH¢10,000 to the liberation of inmates in Ghana.

The seasoned actress gave the Crime Check Foundation (CCF), which funded the organization's petty offenders project, a check for GH¢10,000.

During the cooking program McBrown's Kitchen, the check was given to Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng, the executive director of the foundation.

The ex-convict appeared on the culinary show to highlight that prisoners shouldn't be stigmatized for the crimes and errors they committed that led to their incarceration, but rather, they should be assisted in integrating properly into society.
