Under the stage name Forqzy Beatz, Manasseh T. Nartey, a Tema Community 1 resident and professional music producer and sound engineer, is attempting a five-day Guinness World Records Rec-A-Thon for 100 hours.

Forqzy Beatz's effort to break the record held by a Nigerian since 2022 is set to begin at 12:00 p.m. today, March 21, in the Tema Metropolitan Assembly (TMA) forecourt.

The team that was observed performing sound tests and other technical procedures was in the midst of preparations.

The official attempt's coordinator, Daniel Adjetey Annang, stated in an interview that the goal was to record 200 artists in 100 hours, and that GWR had approved the endeavor.

He was hopeful that in order to guarantee success at the end of the effort, the organizers will adhere to the established rules by GWR.

In addition to expecting to bring in a few A-list performers, he claimed the project will provide a chance to record a number of underground musicians in order to help them advance their careers.

The longest recording marathon including several artists is 40 hours and 30 musicians. This record was set by Near Protocol of Nigeria and Blaqk stereo on June 25 and 26, 2022.
