Forgive One Another, And Live In Peace  With All Mankind -- North Tongu DCE Sends Christmas Message To Constituents

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of North Tongu District in the Volta Region, Honourable Divine Osborn Kwadzo Fenu, has called on citizens of all the six (6) traditional areas in the district to forgive one another and live in peace.

This, the DCE stressed is the best way individual constituents of North Tongu can contribute to the sustainable development of the district.

In his 2022 Christmas message to the constituents, Mr. Fenu stated that the North Tongu District will not enjoy fully her share of development if the people of the district are not united in fighting for development projects and in addressing the district's pressing development challenges.

According to him, since he was appointed the DCE, he has been working hard to contribute to the development of the district in the areas of health, education, security, road network, peace building, water, sanitation & hygiene, social welfare among others.

"Christmas is about  sharing love, making peace, and giving. It is about God's love for humanity, and our love for God and for one other," the DCE noted.

The DCE quotes Hebrews 12:14 which reads; "Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord" as his exhortation verse to support his message to his constituents.

He urged the people of the district to use the festive season to show kindness to one another, remember an old friend, share a meal with someone and live peaceably with all.

"Give hope, Live joyfully, raise the spirit of a child. Give of yourself, perform acts of kindness and above all give love. He concludes with:
"I wish the good people of North Tongu a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year," he stressed.
