Bournemouth picked up their first Premier League victory since February by beating Leicester City by 4-1 to end their nine-game winless run in the competition.

The first win in 10 matches leaves the Cherries three points from safety in 18th.

Bournemouth were without injured forward Joshua King after been ruled out of the game due to a minor hamstring problem, with Dominic Solanke taking his place.

Jack Stacey and Arnaut Danjuma have also recalled Eddie Howe made three changes from the team, which drew with Tottenham.

Leicester made one change, with Christian Fuchs replacing Ryan Bennett in defense.

Jamie Vardy opened the scores in the 23-minute after he slid the ball in from two yards to put the Foxes in front with his 23rd goal of the campaign.

But half-time substitute Junior Stanislas made it 1-1 on 66 minutes from the penalty spot, slotting down the middle after Wilfred Ndidi fouled Callum Wilson.

And AFC Bournemouth were in front 101 seconds later after Kasper Schmeichel was unable to keep out Solanke's low shot, with Caglar Soyuncu sent off in the aftermath for kicking Wilson.

Jonny Evans' own goal in the 83rd minute and a second for Solanke four minutes later completed the turnaround.

Leicester are fourth with 59 points, but could be overtaken if Manchester United beat Southampton on Monday night.
