Ensure A Peaceful Election This Year - Otumfuo Urges IGP

THE KING of the Ashanti Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has urged the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to ensure that there is a peaceful election this Year.

The overlord of the Asante Kingdom Otumfuo Osei Tutu II said this at the Manhyia Palace where the inspector General of Police visited him for his blessings.

According to the king of the Asante Kingdom, the peace of the nation is sole in the hands of Ghana Police hence they must ensure a peaceful election in election 2024.

"This is not the first election we are having election in the country, there has been several of them so you should ensure that there will be peaceful election this Year" Otumfour said.

The inspector General of Police also thanked Otumfour for his praisesing his work and showed appreciation for the king's kindness he showed him at the palace.
