Emotional moment as Akwaboah Jnr. pays glowing tribute to Atsu
The death of Christian Atsu is still fresh in the minds of the world, commanding tributes from all individuals. It is in the same light Akwaboah Jnr. has paid glowing tribute to hi memory with a new song.

Songwriter and singer, Akwaboah Jnr, has taken his solemn tributes to the late Ghanaian footballer, Christian Atsu to another level of emotional bolster. "Ride on brother to Heaven where you belong and you will forever be in our hearts” says the songwriter,Akwaboah jnr, as he pays a glowing tribute to the late Christian Atsu. The untimely demise of the late Ghanaian footballer, Christian Atsu came as a shock to many Ghanaians with celebrities reacting in various ways. Some of them are paying tribute in their way to the death of Christian Atsu with posts on their respective social media pages. The footballer was confirmed dead on Saturday, February 18, 2023. However, Akwaboah has taken it to another level by composing a song in memory of the 2015 AFCON Player of the Tournament titled “Christian Atsu Tribute – Ride On”. The two minutes low tempo-song had Akwaboah talking about the good memories Christian Atsu gave to Ghanaians while playing for the Black Stars from 2012-2019. Akwaboah through his lyrics believes that Christian Atsu by his good deeds will ride on to heaven to rest in the bosom of the Lord.
