Egypt have lost one of its seven African Cup of Nations trophies to thieves, the EFA vice-president Ahmed Shobier has said.

Kickoff reported on Saturday the African Nation’s accolade won under the guidance of Hassan Shehata has been stolen.

According to the vice president, the Egyptian Football Association in a search to keep all it's accolades at a notable museum found the cup missing and quickly decided to put up inquiries.

"The EFA started looking for some trophies as they aim to put them in a notable museum inside the EFA," Shobier said.
