Driver Exposes Health Minister Kwaku Agyemang Manu Over 8 years Unpaid Salary

Former driver of Minister-Designate for Health and MP for Dormaa Central Mr. Kwaku Agyemang Manu suggests that he has not been paid fully.

The letter reads: "I write to petition your good office to assist me to get my outstanding salary balance from the Hon. Minister of Health who doubles as the Member of Parliament for Dormaa Central Constituency".

Between 2009 and 2016, 1 was his personal driver, For the 8 years that I worked for him as his driver, he never paid me even though per our agreement, he was to pay me a monthly salary of eight hundred cedis (GH€ 800.00). His failure to pay my salary put me in serious financial difficulty eventually compelling me to resort to borrowing from friends and loved ones in order to survive." 

According to the driver, his service finally came to an end in 2016 after he had given him two-year prior notice.

The driver noted that the total amount as of the time his service was terminated stood at seventy-six thousand, eight hundred Ghana Cedis (GHC 76,800.00).

He said the additional interest of Fifteen percent (15%) thus, Eleven thousand five hundred and twenty Ghana cedis (11,520.00) total sum of eighty-eight thousand three hundred and twenty Ghana cedis (GHC 88,320.00).
