Doom Looming As NDC Leaders Undermine Hard Work
The national and Regional leadership has now mandated aptitude tests for selecting regional and constituency elections directors and IT directors.
THE FUTURE of the NDC looks bleak as an alarming new policy threatens to undermine the party's most dedicated members.
The national and Regional leadership has now mandated aptitude tests for selecting regional and constituency elections directors and IT directors.
Ostensibly done in the name of professionalism, this despicable action conveniently sidelines hardworking stalwarts to parachute incompetent cronies who will do the bidding of those at the top.
For a party that relies on the blood, sweat and tears of grassroots activists, this is the ultimate betrayal. It tells our committed foot soldiers that no matter how many years you sacrifice for the NDC, you'll never be respected or recognized beyond being exploited for votes. Serving the people isn't enough, only pleasing those at the helm matters now.
Make no mistake, this policy signals doom for the NDC looming large in 2024 and beyond. When you tell your loyalists that merit means nothing and political connections are all that counts, you no longer have a political party but a glorified old boys' club. This is how we lost our way before, but refuse to learn from history.
All who hold the NDC dear must speak out against this reckless plot. Rewarding sycophancy over hard work is no way to build a successful political movement.
If we stay silent now, we cede the future of the party to charlatans and opportunists. The time for action is now before it's too late!
