Don't Politicise Covid-19 Restrictions -Bechem Police Commander

Bechem Municipal Police Commander in the Ahafo Region, ASP Samuels Kofi Opoku has cautioned Ghanaians not to politicize the various pandemic covid-19 restrictions in the country.

Speaking in an interview with Soiree News, ASP Samuel Kofi Opoku said pandemic covid-19 restrictions are being made to facilitate the fight against its spread.

He stated that the step will help to contain the plague therefore Ghanaians must not politicize it rather they should adhere to the protocols.

Last week about 60 people were arrested for flouting the protocols in the Bechem municipality.

As a result, he has charged chiefs and religious leaders to educate their members on the dangerous disease and mechanisms by which its spread could be sustained.
