Obuasi leads with the highest number of recorded cases in the Ashanti Region with 587 as of May 20, 2020.

Obuasi Municipal and Obuasi East have each recorded 381 and 206 respectively along with 1 death in the Municipal.

Ghana has so far recorded 6,096 cases of COVID 19 cases and 31 deaths with the Ashanti Region apportioned 885 cases and 7 deaths.

The Ashanti Regional Health Directorate on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, disclosed in a press meeting.

Kumasi Metro trails third with 71 with four deaths followed by Oforikrom with 43 cases and one death. The Kwabre East Municipal has an additional three cases logged which sums their number to 24.
