As long as they are returning voluntarily, Comoros says it will once again accept its citizens who are deported from the neighboring French island of Mayotte.

Following Paris's decision to begin deporting undocumented migrants from Mayotte, tensions between the two nations bordering the Indian Ocean have risen recently.

The estimated 350,000 people, the majority of whom are Comorians, live abroad.
