Some aggrieved artisans in Kumasi Asafo, have therefore sent a strong caution to Christ Apostolic Church to stop to encroach on their land.

According to the artisans, the entire zone 16 land is demarcated by Executive Instruments by the government since 1989 but Apostolic Church is attempting to encroach the land which they are ready to resist such move by the church.

At a press conference, the Artisans Asafo Zone 16 Chairman under Ghana National Association of Garages, Mr Benjamin Ackah said the land is their bona-fide property with requisite documents, saying they are ready to fight it with their last blood.

He said, the church claimed they have lease on part of the land which has a name plot 5 A but Mr Benjamin Ackah stressed that there is no existence plot 5A on the land site plan hence, they should avoid the attempt of the unlawful entry to the land.

The Ashanti Regional Vice Chairman of Ghana National Association of Garages, Mr.Lukeman Nuhu Mohammed reiterated that the church has no right to start construction on the land.

"We are saying to the Christ Apostolic Church Ghana don't have any land in that area, it is time for the church to stay away from their unlawful invasion," they warned.
