Following 227 hours and a few minutes in the kitchen at the Modern City Hotel in Tamale in January 2024, Ghanaian chef Failatu Abdul-Razak has been rejected by the Guinness World Record.

Kafui Dey, a Ghanaian broadcaster who also serves as her organizer, announced the news on his official social media accounts.

Kafui Dey claims that Chef Faila was unable to surpass Alan Fisher's official 119-hour record.

Chef Faila was unable to match the Guinness World Record's requirements, according to a lengthy post published by Kafui Dey.

The Guinness World Record said in a statement that Chef Faila had broken many of its rules and regulations.
