The boyfriend of the CCTU student who was allegedly killed on Friday night has been remanded in jail by police.

A Cape Coast Circuit Court remanded the suspect, Ato Bronk Taylor, on Monday, May 16.

He will appear in Cape Coast District Court B on May 31, 2022.

Nana Ama Clark, a 24-year-old Marketing student at level 300, was the victim.

Her lifeless body, with her private portion gone, was discovered in a pool of blood.

Police had received information around 9 p.m. on Friday that a female adult had been discovered dead by the roadside at OLA Estate, near the OLA College of Education in Cape Coast.

According to the police, they arrived at the scene and discovered the body of an unknown woman, aged around 24, lying naked with her private part'vagina' chopped off and bruises all over her body.

Nana Ama Clark's body was later put in the mortuary of the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital pending further inquiry.

Meanwhile, the event has stunned neighbors, who are pleading with the police to catch the offenders and ensure that justice is delivered.
