According to the Central African Republic's government, a military installation in the town of Bossangoa was bombed by a plane from an unnamed nation.

The Coalition of Patriots for Change, a rebel organization, has reportedly been involved in different incidents of violence in the same region.

According to the government statement, the plane also dropped explosives on an ally base before heading north. Allies are a general term for Russian mercenaries.
