Bono East Regional Minister inspects ongoing developmental projects

Honorable Kwasi Adu-Gyan, the Bono East Regional Minister, as part of his routine field visits, inspected some ongoing projects undertaken by the regional coordinating council.

The projects inspected include a 2-story building for the High Court Complex. 3-story office complex block for the regional coordinating council, all within the Techiman Municipality.

He also inspected the ongoing regional education office at Nkoranza, and finally, inspected the ongoing regional health directorate and BRC office at Kintampo.

The regional coordinating council building and that of the regional health directorate are almost 90 percent complete whilst that of the Business Resource Center is ready for commissioning.

It is expected that the high court building would be completed and handed over in the next 3 months.

However, the regional education office building which is about 55 percent complete seems abandoned.

The regional minister, Mr. Kwasi Adu-Gyan who was not happy with the attitude of the contractor called for the initiation of processes to terminate and repackage for a more serious contractor.

He challenged people who have been accusing the NPP of not investing in infrastructure to open their eyes as there are more infrastructure projects littered across the region.

He was accompanied by the MCEs for Techiman, Kintampo and Nkoranza, Benjamin Yaw Gyarko Isaac Baffoe Ameyaw, and Daniel Yaw Owuredu respectfully, and also the DCE for Kintampo South, Opoku Nyame, and the various heads of departments.

Mr. Adu-Gyan in a press briefing said a high court in the region will ease the challenges of accessing judicial services.
