Bono East Regional House of Chiefs unhappy with numerous disputes, calls for quick resolutions to foster development

Nananom of the Bono East Regional House of Chiefs is not happy about the numerous chieftaincy disputes in the region which do not foster peace and development.

According to Pimampim Yaw Kabresse 5th, President of the House of Chiefs who happens to be Omanhene of Yeji Traditional Council, out of the total 19 Paramountcies in the Bono East region, only 9 currently have active Chiefs as the remaining 10 are all in disputes and therefore pleads with Government to give them a permanent Lawyer to come and help Nananom resolve all outstanding conflicts in order to have a full House.

Pimampim Yaw Kabresse 5th made this appeal when Nana Kwaku Gyan Brokuor 2nd Omanhene of Offuman Traditional Council in the Techiman North District was sworn in and gazetted to become an official member of the Bono East Regional House of Chiefs.

Speaking later on in an interview with the Media, the newly sworn-in and Gazetted President of Offuman Traditional Council Nana Kwaku Gyan Brokuor 2nd called on his People to give him their full support to execute his developmental agenda in order to make Offuman a better place to live.

Finally, Nana Akosua Amobea 2nd Paramount Queen-mother of Offuman expressed her gratitude to the King Makers for bringing the 28 year old chieftaincy dispute to end.
