The founder and General Overseer of Power Chapel Worldwide, Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng has called on the Christian fraternity to give Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo a chance in the upcoming presidential elections to fulfill the divine mission mandated by God..

According to the Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the National Cathedral, the vision of the President of Ghana to build a National Cathedral must be accomplished before he exits his eight-year term of office as Ghana’s leader.

He summoned all believers to accept the plea at the Launch of the National Cathedral and Fund Raising Campaign which took place on Thursday, January 30th 2020 at the Church of Pentecost, A.T Nartey Temple, Bantama Kumasi.

The National Cathedral is the vision of the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and involves close partnership between the State and the Ghanaian Christian Community for its development to build on the rich history of the Church’s involvement in National development, and reflects the social partnership envisaged to foster participatory development of the country as a collective goal.

Enlightening the congregation on the night, Rev Kusi revealed that there has never been a time in the history of Ghana where a president has attended to Christians greatest needs, that is providing  a space for God’s worship regardless of Christians playing a major role in deciding Ghana’s leader during the polls.

He voiced that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has in no way concealed his identity, as a believer as has humbly projected that distinctiveness everywhere he finds himself therefore it is an indication that God has chosen one from within to fulfil the furthermost necessity of Christians.

“Christians contribute to 75 percent of Ghana’s population. Every government neglects our interest and makes us feel inactive in their reign yet we carry the majority in deciding Ghana’s future”, he said.

“Glory be to God for giving us a president who has decided to satisfy us with our interest.

“His exposure as a believer is incredible. The President is proud to pronounce that everywhere he goes and its not surprising when he made the decision to build a National Cathedral for Ghana for the benefit of the upcoming generations.

“No such decision like this has ever existed in the history of Ghana. This is the first time Ghana’s distinguished priests of the Living God is meeting under one roof and I believe, something is about to happen, the clouds are shifting and it is a new day. Halleluiah,” he happily roared.

Rev. Victor Kusi further educated and instructed with love towards the congregation that the New Patriotic Party must be given another four-year term to help the president put up the Church to the Glory of God and avoid any setbacks.

“God told Samuel that if He begins a course, it must end fruitfully. God does not begin for another to complete. If indeed works on the building will begin by March, then it means that to play in ensuring that the president stays on course to complete the Cathedral,” he revealed.

“I am not speaking as a politician. I am speaking as a Christian whose need is now been attended to by a president of one common interest. We will be ungrateful to end the President’s reign in 2020,” he ended.
