Atletico Madrid Pushes Hard For €50m Serie A Star

Atletico Madrid is in a battle to land Udinese star Rodrigo De Paul, according to a report.

De Paul is having another excellent season for Udinese having amassed 9 goals to which 9 decisive assists must also be added, which in addition to the fact he can play as a central midfielder, right winger or even a support striker has attracted the interest of some top clubs in Europe.

According to a report by Calciomercato.com, Rodrigo is a player destined to make the jump to a big club this summer after several years in Udine. 

De Paul has never forced his hand to leave the Stadio Friuli in the last two years despite the many requests.

The Argentine’s starting price is €50m but they could sell him for €40m given the economic crisis of football at the European level.

In Italy, there would be plenty of choices as Inter have been keen on the player for some time with Juventus including him in the list of possible signings but have not yet presented a formal offer.
