Ashaiman NDC MP Exposes NPP Government For Awarding New Roads Construction Contracts
According to the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ashaiman Constituency, Honourable Ernest Norgbey, government claimed some portions of the roads were awarded on contract but we are yet to see any contractors on sites.

The government of the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo claimed to have awarded road construction projects to the road contactors to execute in some communities of the Ashaiman Constituency of the Greater Accra is completely false.
According to the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ashaiman Constituency, Honourable Ernest Norgbey, government claimed some portions of the roads were awarded on contract but we are yet to see any contractors on sites.
He stressed that "I took a trip on Ashaiman roads with the media and some residents of Ashaiman constituency to ascertain the extent of damage on the roads."
He indicated that "It's sad to note that the roads are really bad and needed an urgent attention by the government.
"As the MP of the Constituency, I made series of efforts to draw the attention of the government to the deplorable nature of the roads to know avail.
"Writing letters to the minister, asking the minister series of questions concerning our roads on the floor of Parliament, engaging the media etc to know avail.
"I wish to state on behalf of my beloved people of Ashaiman that if within two weeks (14 days) the contractor(s) do(es) not come to site, the community would demonstrate peacefully against the authorities that be,",the MP disclosed in an interview with Soireenews.com.
Speaking in an interview some of the residents in Ashaiman maintained that the constructions of the new roads claim by government of the NPP are false and shame.
They expressed wonder that It is a “tragedy” that the President Nana Akufo-Addo “would classify routine minor road repairs such as resealing, reshaping, pot-hole filling and regravelling, as new road constructions of the roads in the Ashaiman
They pointed out that “The claim that this government has constructed new roads in Ashaiaman municipality is false and should be completely disregarded.
