Ghanaian International, Tariq Lamptey is on the radar of Arsenal, the Mirror reports.

The Gunners would only secure the services of the 20-year old if Hector Bellerin leaves for Barcelona.

Reports reveal that the Blaugranas want to reunite with their academy youngster and the player seems interested in the move which could either happen in January or at the end of the season amidst growing interest from Pars Saint Germain also.

Joan Laporta, the favourite candidate to win the January Barca elections is an admirer of the player and wants him back at the Camp Nou to help the Catalan club.

Arteta sees the 20-year old Seagull right-winger as the perfect replacement for Bellerin, who impressed in their 3-1 win against Chelsea.

Lamptey joined Graham Potter’s side last January to get regular playing time in the Premier League and his impressive runs and skills on the ball have extended his monitoring base, with the likes of Manchester City and Bayern Munich all observing his progress.

He has made 11 appearances for Brighton & Hove Albion out of 15 games in the current Premier League campaign, with a goal to his name.

He is likely to miss Brighton's game with the Gunners on Tuesday having been out for a while through injury.

“Tariq is progressing but probably a little bit slower than we thought so he won’t be available for Arsenal and at this stage is very doubtful for Wolves,” Graham Potter updated.
