AngloGold Ashanti Military Men Are Killing Us-Obuasi Youth Small Scale Miners Association Alleges
According to the President of the Association, Emmanuel Kofi Ayamga, many lives have been perished with regards to constant clash that befall the youth and the military anytime they invade Anglogold Ashanti's concession.

The Obuasi youth small scale miners association has described the constant Clash between some youth and the AngloGold Ashanti (AGA) Military as uncalled for.
According to the President of the Association, Emmanuel Kofi Ayamga, many lives have been perished with regards to constant clash that befall the youth and the military anytime they invade Anglogold Ashanti's concession.
The youth despite threats posed unto them by the AGA's military whenever they invade the mine's concession have not backed off due to the fact that feel cheated by the mine giant.
In a press conference conducted on Tuesday, the association sent a signal to all stakeholders of the mine as a matter of urgency provide them with any of AGA's abandoned site to operate else they face their wrath.
That notwithstanding, some residents of Obuasi poured out their grievances to the general public especially all stakeholders in connection to the mine to expedite it's move provide the youth with their expectations.
"Many youths of Obuasi are turning into armed robbers whiles others are unable to cater for their wards due to the fact that there is no job for them," some residents cried out.
