The Red Devils after failing to meet the price worth of Jadon Sancho believe Thiago's resourcefulness towards their attack would guide them to challeng for the Premier League this seasn.

The 29-year old Spaniard has been on the top of every Liverpool transfer news with a report of the Reds having agreed on a three-year deal with the former Barcelona player.

Liverpool are yet to agree on terms with Bayern on the players 27m asking price, an amount they see too big for a player entering his final contract stage.

According to BBC and ESPN journalist Constantin Eckner, Bayern are expecting a bid from Manchester United this week for the services of the Spaniard.

“Yes, it is true. Manchester United are interested in Thiago’s services. Bayern expects to receive an offer from them. Liverpool remain interested in him, but they think the signing would be too expensive,” he wrote.

The Red Devils earlier tried to hijack a move for the number 10 yet Thiago’s representatives revealed that their client is interested to work with Klopp if he will make a move in the Premier League.

The transfer window is a few weeks away and it is reported that Klopp must sell before he can secure the services of the versatile attacking midfielder.

With Origi, Rhian Brewster, and Wijnaldum all linked away from the Premier League champions this summer, Klopp will have to make sales following the signing of Kostas Tsimikas from Olympiacos with the money derived from Dejan Lovren's trade.
