Nana Ama McBrown has cautioned people not to fall for cheap schemes of scammers instigated in her name.

According to her, any sane person should know that she would not be online begging for money and perfumes.

She warned that anyone that falls into the trap of frauds who have been creating fake accounts in her name to soliciting for help is on his/her own.

The actress told ZionFelix in an interview on the ‘Uncut’ Show.

For clarity, she stated that any Facebook page bearing the name Nana Ama McBrown is fake because her username on Instagram is @IAmAmaMcBrown, a verified account and 'Official Nana McBrown' on Facebook.

Nana Ama McBrown, who is the host of United Showbiz on UTV, maintained that there are many fake social media accounts and cautioned the general public to be careful when dealing with such pages.

Nana Ama McBrown further stated that if she needs anything from Ghanaians in the future, she will do that with her original pages, until then, she asked people to be careful.
