Jurgen Klopp has responded to Lampard’s criticism at his team during the Reds 5-3 win on Wednesday night at Anfield.

The German has informed the young manager to learn to cope with negative results rather than lay criticism.

The Chelsea manager got emotional following Sadio Mane’s awarded foul when Mateo Kovacic launched into the attacker from behind. The freekick awarded to the Reds was beautifully converted by Trent Alexander Arnold to double their lead after Naby Keita has launched a thunderbolt under the roof few minutes ago.

The 42-year old with the hope of securing at least a point saw his side rather used as a booster during the party where Liverpool were officially presented with the Premier League trophy.

"Fair play to Liverpool Football Club, they've won the league, but also don't get too arrogant with it. That was my point, but it's done. In match play, you can get emotional and that was it," Lampard accused.

According to Klopp, "Frank was obviously in a really competitive mood” and responded hostile due to the unfavorable position the result put his team. He snubbed that Liverpool is not arrogant and counseled that Frank must learn.

"You cannot hit me with something like that and my bench because we are not arrogant.

"Frank was obviously in a really competitive mood. I respect that a lot. You can pretty much, from my point of view, say, in a situation like this, what you want.

"For me, when it is after the game, it is completely over. I have said a lot in the past because it is pure emotion. We are really involved.

"He came here to win the game or to get a point to get Champions League qualification. I respect that a lot. What he has to learn is to finish it with the final whistle and he didn't do that.

"Speaking afterwards like this, that is not OK. Frank has to learn. He has a lot of time to learn because he is a young coach but that he has to learn."

"We are not arrogant. We are pretty much the opposite of arrogant. In a moment like this, how it is with all arguments if you say something you want to hurt the other person. No problem with that, but after the final whistle close the book. He didn't do that and that is what I don't like."

Chelsea will play Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday and must win the game to book a ticket for Champions League next season.
