England to play Kosovo in Group A Euro 2020 qualifiers on Tuesday

England will play Kosovo this evening at the St. Mary’s Stadium in their Euro 2020 Group A qualifiers with Captain Harry Kane hoping to make a new scoring record.

The three Lions on Saturday beat Bulgaria by 4-0 at Wembley. A Harry Kane’s hat trick and Raheem Sterling addition saw the home side maintain their winning record to top the Group. A win this evening will see them extend their lead to 12 points out of four matches whiles second place Kosovo will drop down from second depending on Czech Republic’s results against Montenegro.

Gareth Southgate is expected to start Liverpool’s Trent Alexander Arnold and Leicester’s Ben Chilwell for Kieran Tripper and Danny Rose. The English boss revealed on Monday that his team will add up new legs to get the balance right.

"We might freshen the team a bit, that will be important.

"We don't need to, everyone is fit and available. We need to make sure we get the balance right.

"We need to get the right attacking and defending profiles to make sure we win the game."

Kane’s three goals against Bulgaria on Saturday made him the 13th player in the history of England football to score multiple hat tricks. He is on the radar as the 13th England player to score multiple hattricks. Kane still trails former captain, Wayne Rooney by 28 strikes yet his manager has backed him to break that record with time.

"I think it will just be about fitness and avoiding lengthy injuries - things that are out of your control - but I would think everything else is there to really challenge it," Southgate said.

"The reality of that is that there's a reason that only Bobby Charlton, Gary Lineker and Wayne Rooney have got there, because it's such a hard challenge to stay fit, the number-one choice, focused, motivated for the long period that you need to be able to get the games and to get those goals.

"But if anybody has that strength of mentality, for sure it's Harry."
