Social media followers have lambasted Efia Odo after she tweeted that WHO needs to make “dick sanitizers”. 

In her reaction, she made the controversial and hilarious claim saying that even with the confirmation of the disease Ghanaians will still have sex.

The celebrity initially tried to pass it off as a message to the World Health Organization, claiming that she is just urging them to provide "extra protection" from the now widespread virus. 

Only a few fans on Twitter were able to see the "funny side" of the tweet as the majority did not approve of the post, lashing at her for putting up thoughtless post in reaction to the recent sensitive news in Ghana.

She has since taken down the post on twitter as a lot of Ghanaians reacted to the tweet and labelled it as unreasonable.

She also called for safety among Ghanaians, urging individuals to follow the protocols set to ensure that the coronavirus cases are restricted.

“One infected person entering Makola or any area that is fully crowded and we’re dead! Please guys stay clean and protected. I care about every single person that’s why I’m really stressing on this. My friend in NY just got infected with this virus, it’s NO JOKE!”
