Former UFC and WWE Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey, claims that the World Wrestling Entertainment fans are ungrateful idiots and blame them for Bray Wyatt’s release.

The Fiend - Bray Wyatt was released by WWE last week and Ronda Rousey believes it’s the fans’ fault.

The UFC Hall of Fame’s one year with WWE helped the women division in their first-ever main event at WrestleMania 35 in 2019.

Bray Wyatt had a stellar WWE run by anyone’s standards and was a three-time world champion, but he could have been their main guy.

The Fiend never was and fans were often frustrated with how WWE booked him.

According to Rousey, the fans have no right to be upset with Wyatt’s release because they didn’t back him enough while he was still there.

“I’ve seen you same “fans” chanting #WeWantWyatt last night.

“We want beach balls’ over @WWEBrayWyatt performing. If the@wwe treated him like he was expendable it was because you ungrateful idiots did first,” Rousey tweeted.

Rousey is referencing Wyatt’s match with Matt Hardy at Elimination Chamber in 2018 when the crowd chanted they wanted beach balls half way through the contest.

Still, when a company like WWE has been making ‘budget cuts’ since WrestleMania, it seems a stretch to say the fans essentially put Wyatt on the chopping block.

The 34-year-old only had one match this year and that was a quick, five-minute affair at WrestleMania with Randy Orton. Wyatt had a handful of appearances on either side of that match and hasn’t been seen since.

Fans were pretty divided on Rousey’s tweet. Many argued that Rousey had a point and indeed, fans are fickle.

Wyatt won several ‘worst’ awards with the Wrestling Observer over the past couple of years and those are voted for by fans.

However, that is a sweeping generalization. A true blanket statement of all fans, that isn’t fair.

Wyatt was beloved for the most part; it was the booking of his character that left many frustrated.

Rousey has a split history with the fans herself. After arriving at rapturous ovations, during her RAW Women’s title run, the fans began to turn on Rousey and the incredible rise of Becky Lynch only added fuel to that fire.

Many feel that left a bitter taste in Rousey’s mouth, but she has been known to rile people up online from time to time regardless.

Rousey has been away from wrestling since after WrestleMania 35 and is currently pregnant. It’s believed she is expecting her child in September.
