Wontumi Accused Of Destroying NPP

Concerned members and supporters New Patriotic Party (NPP) at Asante Mampong in the Ashanti Region are accusing the Ashanti Regional NPP Chairman, Mr. Bernard Antwi Bosiako(Chairman Wontumi) for the brain behind the pending case of Mampong internal Election in court.
They were speaking in an interview with Soureenews.com after Asante Mampong High Court adjourned the case files by 35 NPP Mampong Polling Station Executives led by Mr. Kofi Sarpong against NPP Executives in Mampong led by Constituency chairman, Mr. Asare Luther.
However, the Court presided over by His Lordship Justice George Appah Kwarbeng adjourned to May 6 2022 when the complainants (party executives) and their lawyers did not appear in Court.
They stated that Chairman Wontumi with the tacit support of the Constituency executives has denied thousands of party members to pick forms to contest the polling station elections in the constituency.
They said the members of the NPP were disqualified because they are not on the MP side.
The leader of the 35 Polling Station Executives who files the case, Mr. Kofi Sarpong explained bitterly that, Chairman Wontumi called him to bribe him so that he will dismiss the case from the court but he refused because he is fighting for NPP, not his interest.
They, therefore, appeal to the National Executives Committee (NEC) of the NPP to come to the matter to let peace prevail in the NPP.
