Wizkid couldn't fill Accra Stadium; don't bother our artists with 02 Arena - Bullgod

Bulldog, the stage name of artist management Lawrence Asiamah Hanson, has pleaded with Ghanaians to cease putting undue pressure on Ghanaian performers to fill the 02 Arena.

Bulldog believes that Ghanaians have no right to criticize our musicians about selling out the 02 Arena in Madison Square if Grammy Award-winning Nigerian singer Wizkid couldn't accomplish it for his most recent performance at the Acra Sports Stadium.

This, in his opinion, is the result of Afrobeats singer Wizkid's inability to draw enough people to fill the Accra Sports Stadium, which holds 40,000 people, despite dominating all of these venues, especially the 02 Arena, which has a seating capacity of 20,000.

Bulldog discussed his thoughts on Wizkid's refusal to attend his performance and his inability to fill the Accra Sports stadium.

"Nobody should be concerned about our artists filling the 02 Arena now that Wizkid has convincingly demonstrated that he cannot fill the stadium. He was unable to fill here as well. Make no one worry about them. We are dey. Let them visit and test out the Accra Sports Stadium rather than the 02 Arena or Madison Square. When it happens, we can speak.

However, he praised Rev. Mensah Otabil, the founder and head of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), for being the only one to date to be able to fill the Accra Sports Stadium with his regular 31-watch night service known as "Crossover."

“Otabil is still on our chat. The only person to do it.”
