We Have Reclaimed Abandoned Galamsey Sites In Manso Area With Over 4000 Trees-Chairman Of Small Scale Miners

CHAIRMAN of Amansie West Small Scale Miners Association, Mr Joseph Mensah has disclosed that the association has planted over four thousand  trees to reclaim the abandoned galamsey sites in Manso area 

He  said they need government support , such as dozers and other equipments  to cover all the abandoned galamsey pits in the area 

According to him the measures of the small scale miners association have put in place  ahead of next year will contribute positively to the development of the mining  communities .

Mr Joseph Mensah the chairman of small scale miners association , Amansie west zone speaking to journalists said the association has support the security to arrest the illegal miners.

Amansie west zone small scale miners  chairman on the motive of the donations to the children home said , it is part of their cooperate responsibilities to the society 

The manager of the heart of smile organization children's home  Mr Douglas Owusu express their profound gratitude to the association for their timely donations 

He said due to the bad road they don't frequently get donations from  others
