Update On The Court Cases Against NDC and Constituency Executives Of Afram Plains North
In a news item by the Communication Officer of the NDC in the Afram Plains North Constituency, Agbadzanyi Peter captured by Soireenews.com, he indicated that "I wish to officially inform you that the prayers of some of our Ndc to ensure the arrest and imprisonment of our Constituency Chairman, Secretary and Organiser (The Respondents) have failed.

National Democratic Congress (NDC) had detailed the current ongoing court cases against party and constituency executives in the Afram Plains North of the Eastern Region.
In a news item by the Communication Officer of the NDC in the Afram Plains North Constituency, Agbadzanyi Peter captured by Soireenews.com, he indicated that "I wish to officially inform you that the prayers of some of our Ndc to ensure the arrest and imprisonment of our Constituency Chairman, Secretary and Organiser (The Respondents) have failed.
It will be recalled that on 9th May, 2023 the court ordered the Respondents to file their responses to a new case filed by the petitioners on 23rd February, 2023 and reappear in court for hearing on Friday 26th May, 2023.
This date was in the minds of the Respondents forgetting that the court has given a different date to rule on a Contempt application brought against them in respect of the 2022 Constituency Elections which is Friday 19th May, 2023.
Since the Respondents weren't in court on 19th May, 2023 for that, the judge issued an arrest warrant to bring them to court for that ruling.
The court yesterday morning cancelled that arrest warrant when our officers voluntarily appeared before it to explain themselves and plead with the court.
Case was therefore adjourned to 16th June, 2023 for a possible ruling on that Contempt application and then we move to hearing of the new case.
I cannot comprehend why a supposed leader and his followers who claim they know nothing about the ongoing court cases are rejoicing because an arrest warrant was issued to arrest fellow comrades of the same party.
This is pure hatred, jealousy and wickedness that can only be undertaken by surrogates of the Npp and not true Ndc members.
Hon. Betty, the Constituency Executives and all supporters of Honourable Betty have so far demonstrated to be of peaceful characters and always being quiet on issues, it appears our peaceful nature demonstrated so far has been taken to mean weakness by our brothers.
A new chart will definitely be brought to face them squarely so they should watch out and be prepared in the coming days.
Whether enemies of NDC come in the form of NPP itself or INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE, we are ready for them. We prepared for them even before our internal Primaries because we knew their plans.
NDC is and will continue to remain our only party as committed and LOYAL members and I wish to remind all party members that our internal elections are over and we have John Dramani Mahama as Flagbearer and Honourable Krosbi Mensah as Parliamentary Candidate for the 2024 General Elections.
Our doors are opened to all NDC members and sympathisers to come on board for us to collectively rescue this nation from the hands of this wicked and failed NPP government.
A win in 2024 is a win for us all.
