Mr William Benjamin Assuah

The Western North Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr William Benjamin Assuah has addressed the Sefwi Wiawso constituency and polling station executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as part of the party’s Annual Constituency Delegates Conference.

In his address, Mr William Benjamin Assuah on the matter of Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) appointments has urged the party supporters to maintain calm.

He stated that only nine (9) out of the sixty-seven (67) interviewees will be appointed and whatever the President’s decision will, each one should acknowledge them as equal party members and not be bitter about it.

“The most important thing is to have someone who will be there to provide assistance for members of the party,” he added.

That's not withstood, Mr William Benjamin Assuah in an interview with Soireenews encouraged members of the party to do well to go through the required procedures in job recruitment before seeking any assistance.

This to him is because, out of the over six (6) million people who voted for President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo, there is no way he can provide jobs for them all.

In his conclusive remarks, he expressed his immense gratitude to all party members, polling station executives and constituency executives to keep up with their good works and continue to defend the party at all times and at all levels.

Due to the nature of the Covid-19 pandemic, the constituency comprises thirty-one (31) electoral areas and has been divided into three (3) zones within the Sefwi Wiawso constituency.
