Suhum MCE Hands Over Boys Dormitory To Suhum PreSec.

The representative of the President, Hon. Margaret Darko Darkwa, on Monday, April 4, 2022, has handed over an eight rooms boys dormitory block to the Presbyterian Senior High School in Suhum.

The newly constructed boys' dormitory, which was undertaken by Kay Boat company limited, has facilities such as 2 box rooms, 2 common rooms, toilets, and bathrooms.

Mrs. Margaret Darko Darkwa in her interview said that the project is aimed at improving the physical infrastructure deficit in the school, which would eventually lead to quality teaching and learning in the Municipality. 

To her, the government would continue to improve upon the infrastructure situation in the various schools to ease some burdens to make the Free SHS policy a success.

The headmaster of the school, Mr. Ako Afari paid a glowing tribute to the NPP-led Nana  Akuffo-Addo's government and the MCE for such a beautiful edifice. He pledged to ensure that the dormitory would be put to good use by the students to attract more projects for the school from the government and other corporate bodies.

The education director, supervising and monitoring in charge of the Suhum Municipality Mr. George Darko also added that the edifice has come at the time the students mostly needs the facility for their accommodation conditions as the incoming form one student are on admission.
