According to the traditional ruler, the trend at which the Ghanaian youth are going nowadays is becoming uncontrollable since they are highly addicted to drugs this will negatively affect the nation in  the future.

 The Egyahene (Fire Chief) of Awutu Traditional Council who double as the Chief of Awutu  Yamoah Nkwanta, Nai Acheampong Kuma III has charged Ghanaian youth to runaway from excessive intake of Tramadol, Marijuana, cocaine and most especially, wee fofee.

 According to the traditional ruler, the trend at which the Ghanaian youth are going nowadays is becoming uncontrollable since they are highly addicted to drugs this will negatively affect the nation in  the future. 


This according to the Traditional Ruler, the youth must desist from drugs abuse and prioritize education which will help them to be responsible leaders and contribute to the national development. 


Nai Acheampong Kuma III made this pronouncement to Angel news reporter Opanyin Darko yesterday at Yamoah Nkwanta community when performing rituals at the celebration of Awubia festival yesterday.


Meanwhile, some Traditional elders are also calling on the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Ekuffo Dampare to beef up security in their area since land guards are tormenting their lives. 

The landguards activities are reported to have destroyed thousands of properties and claimed lives in the area.
