President Akufo-Addo Is Practicing Dictatorship Style of Governance --NDC Secretary

He pointed out that the current decision taken by President Akufo-Addo to appoint the Minister for Finance, Mr Ken Ofori Atta to take over as an acting  Minster of Trade and Industry after the resignation of Mr John Alan Kwadzo Kyeremanten clearly shows his dictatorship style of governance.

The Tano South Constituency Secretary of the Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ahafo Region, Mr.  Kwame Frimpong, has lashed out a verbal attack at President Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo for practicing what he described as a tyrannical style of leadership and governance.
He pointed out that the current decision taken by President Akufo-Addo to appoint the Minister for Finance, Mr Ken Ofori Atta to take over as an acting  Minster of Trade and Industry after the resignation of Mr John Alan Kwadzo Kyeremanten clearly shows his dictatorship style of governance.
Speaking in an interview with High Radio monitored by Soireenews.com, Mr. Kwame Frimpong indicated that the president assigning duties of trade and industries ministry to the current finance minister to act as a caretaker minister demonstrates how autocratic the president is without taking into consideration the ideas of the citizenry and party cohorts for development sake.
He stressed that the president has frowned upon the democracy of the country by empowering the arrest of some media practitioners, and some ordinary Ghanaians who criticized what he described as a poor form of Governance that has led to the current hardship in the country denoting that the president fueling series of the arrest of some Ghanaians that criticize him is a reflection of his tyranny towards the citizens of the country. 
On her part, a communication team Member of the ruling New Patriotic Party in the Tano South Constituency, Madam Agyeiwaa Naizer indicated that President Akufo-Addo has intensified democracy by passing the right-to-information bill which enhances accountability and media freedom with greater protection of Human Rights in the country.
He emphasized that the 1992 constitution enshrined on the Human Rights which has made it possible for people to seek redress when the laws are wrongly used against them. 
She stressed that the 1992 constitution has also strengthened the rule of law which means everyone is equal before the laws of the land hence facilitating accountability and good governance thereby preventing dictatorship.
She explained that democracy can only be achieved when the opposition parties constructively criticize the ruling government to help them up their governance which helps in the development of the country.
She emphasizes that President Akufo-Addo has added value to the practice of democracy in the country.
