OFFICIAL: Otto Addo will continue to coach the Black Stars alongside three others.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) announced on Tuesday that Otto Addo will coach the Black Stars until December 2022.

According to the football association, the Germany-trained tactician will be assisted by George Boateng and Didi Dramani.

Meanwhile, Chris Hughton, the former Brighton and Newcastle United manager, retains his role as technical advisor for the national team following the world cup playoff encounter.

"Until the end of December 2022, the Ghana Football Association has appointed Otto Addo, Chris Hughton, George Boateng, and Mas-Ud Didi Dramani as coaches of the senior national side, the Black Stars," the statement stated.

"The quartet in charge of Ghana's qualification for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 competition will continue on to oversee the country's preparation for the tournament, as well as the 2023 AFCON qualifiers and the tournament itself."

"This comes after extensive negotiation and engagement with all relevant stakeholders, including the Ministry of Youth and Sports," the statement continues.

"The coaches will name their team for Matchday 1 and 2 of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations Cote D'lvoire 2023 qualifiers, as well as the four-nation tournament in Japan, in the near future."

In the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] qualifiers in June, Otto Addo and the rest of the technical team will lead the squad against Madagascar and the Central African Republic.

Ghana is in Group H with Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay for the 2022 World Cup. Later this year, in November, the Mundial will begin.
