Billionaire businessman, Obi Cubana splashes millions of naira on himself to acquire a diamond pendant in honour of his late mother.
The barman has been in the news following the gift of 246 cows received as gifts for his late mother's burial.
According to a luxury jeweller, Obi Cubana had reached out on what a $100K [50 million naira] would get him to honour his mother. In return, the jeweller made him a diamond pendant with the face of his late mother on it.
obi_cubana asked me “I want something special to commemorate my mum what can my 100k$ do for me” told him Say no more big bro #justaskobi,” the jeweler wrote while sharing photos of the luxury piece on Instagram.
Obi Iyiegbu, 46, popularly known as Obi Cubana owner of several nightclubs in Abuja, Lagos, and Owerri is set to bury his late mother Ezinne Uche Iyiiegbu, today, July 16, 2021.
The burial is currently taking place at Afor Uzo Oba in Anambra state.
Cubana Chief Priest and Obi Cubana used to be business associates until they fell out about a year ago.
Obi Cubana is known to be one of the pioneers of nightlife in Abuja where he has major investments in the hospitality business.
