The newly enstooled Nkawkaw Chief, Nana Osono Adade II, has placed a total ban on the uttering of cursing in the community and stressed that any member of the community who would utter a curse on his neighbor would be fined.

He stressed that the decision to ban the invocation of curses in the area is to end the rampant deaths in the community and promote the socio-economic activities of the people.
Nana Osono Adade II issued the warning when he engaged the leadership in the various associations in Nkawkaw Community and its adjoining environs with talks to familiarize them as partners in development.
The engagement was also aimed at addressing the numerous challenges facing the community since he has assumed the chieftaincy position as Nkawkaw Chief at his palace.
The essence of the meeting was to put in place policies that will promote sanity, peace, unity, and security problems in the area.
Present at the event were members from hehe leadership of the Zongo community, Queen Mothers of Market women Association, and representatives from the Road Transport Drivers Unions.

According to the sources close to the Nkawkaw Traditional Council, students have also joined the bandwagon invoking curses against their colleagues.
 
The sources told this online news portal that at least 30 complaints about invoked curses are recorded in the traditional area daily.
 
In this process, Nkawkaw Chief stated categorically that the situation is having a debilitating effect on the traditional council as many young people are dying as a result.
Nana Osono Adade II said the community for years did not have a substantive chief to rule them, hence the reckless attitudes of some inhabitants.
He said since he was enstooled as a chief, he intends to ensure that stringent rules and regulations are put in place to guide the people to enhance the development of the area.
Nana Osono Adade II, called on all and sundry to exhibit good citizenship to develop the Nkawkaw together.
"My pressing major challenge as the frequent causing "Duba)" that has been killing a lot of people due to misunderstanding problems and that l appealing to the market queen mothers to advise their women to desist from such act, because, l will not hesitate to punish any culprits henceforth when caught in the act at his Palace," Nana Osono Adade II warned.
In Addition, Benkumhene of NkawkawAban-use Manpong, Nana Onwona Kofialso added his voice by charging the leadership of the driving unions present at the event to advise their drivers to protect lives by driving with care as well as show respect to their passengers.
Touching on the Security issues, Nananom called on the Nkawkaw Zongo leadership to advise their youth to overcome arrogance and violence to help quality leadership and development for Nkawkaw to promote peace and unity.
Moreover, Nananom promised that Nana Osono Adade II, has the rekindling spirit of creativity, innovation, and enterprise through traditional leadership of wisdom, humility, and discerning spirit to spearhead the project in Nkawkaw after 20years without a chief.
