New Awutu Senya East MCE Stopped My Toilet Facilities Project At Kasoa New Market Junction Due To Partisan Politics-NDC Parliamentary Hopeful, Dina Tetteh Blows Alarm
The parliamentary hopeful of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Awutu Senya East Constituency of the Central Region, who doubles as Assembly Member for the Adam Nana Electoral Area, Mrs. Dina Dugbaki Tetteh, has lamented that the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Awutu Senya East, Madam Anita Love Obo Amissah has stopped her not to build ultramodern public toilet seaters and wash room facilities for the inhabitants living in Kasoa New Market Junction area which falls her electoral area.
She pointed out that the inhabitants who are predominantly business men and women have approached her that they lacked public toilet and wash room facilities, saying that having assess the situation and realized that such area has now become a commercial centre, she wrote an official letter the Assembly requesting the land to build the project.
She stated that the Assembly under the former MCE, Mr. Michael Mensah with due diligence allocated the land for her to build the toilet and wash room facilities for the people.
Suddenly, according to Mrs Tetteh, when the new MCE assumed office somewhere in the year 2021she hurriedly stopped her not to use the land for the project, just because she belongs to the different political party-NDC.
"I am very surprise that the current MCE would take this action to stop me from building the facilities to the people since these facilities are essential services for the people who come to the area to do business and go home.
"I wonder why we are not putting the people interest first and that now the partisan politics we are doing in Ghana if care is not taken it would affect us negatively rather than positively. This is because it is a high time the people interest should be put first.
As a leader, every action you would take, you have look at that is it whether going to affect larger population or not," Mrs. Tetteh stated in an interview with ITV on Tuesday April 25, 2023, monitored by Soireenews.com
Mrs. Tetteh expressed these sentiments in a reaction to the question asked by the host of Morning Show on ITV to the effect that what are some of her achievements so far in the constituency as an Assembly member before she declared her intention to contest primaries on the ticket of the NDC.
She showcased numerous social and infrastructure intervention developmental projects and programmes she personally lobbied to be brought to the constituency as an Assembly member for the Adam Nana Electoral Area.

Speaking in an interview on the ITV Morning Show on Tuesday April 25, 2013, monitored by Soirreenews.com, Mrs Tetteh, a-two term Assembly member noted that she has worked with some opinion leaders to lobbying for the provisions of health, education, road networks, security, water, hygiene, sanitation, welfare services, insurance packages for constituents and electricity amongst others to be brought to the various communities within the constituency.

According to the NDC young outspoken female politician, all these aforementioned projects were visibly to be seen at their implementation electoral areas in the constituency.

She said through these instrumentalities and efforts of providing these social amenities to the people had informed the decision of the supporters and members of the NDC including the thousands of floating voters to approach her to advise her to contest the upcoming NDC primary come Saturday May 13, 2023.
Mrs.Tetteh pointed out that the NDC faithful (s) told her that they believed that she is the only best candidate who is capable to lead the NDC in the Awutu Senya East Constituency into the 2024 general elections to wrestle the parliamentary seat from New Patriotic Party (NPP).
