NDC Women Organizer Hopeful Stings President Akufo-Addo For Destroying Future Of Ghanaian Youths

A communication team member and a women organizer hopeful for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Tain Constituency of the Bono Region, Mrs. Amponsah Gyan Gloria popularly known as Yaa-Asantewaa, has taken a swipe at President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for destroying future of many  Ghanaian young people.

A communication team member and a women organizer hopeful for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Tain Constituency of the Bono Region, Mrs. Amponsah Gyan Gloria popularly known as Yaa-Asantewaa, has taken a swipe at President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for destroying future of many  Ghanaian young people.

According to her, looking at the increasing rate of youth unemployment in the country under the watch of President Akufo-Addo, it clearly shows that Nana-Addo led New Patriotic Party (NPP) government has no better future plans and ideologies for the youth in Ghana,.
 
She pointed out that the government under President Akufo-Addo had made the Ghanaian youth seeming irrelevant for development.
The women organizer hopeful bemoaned on the abandoned Ghanaian youth to their fates as the NPP do not bring youth matters into consideration and do not provides opportunities to mainstream the voices, actions and initiatives of young people and the meaningful participation of the country's economy.
She said, from the basics of development, the government do not promote the youth's ideals to be responsible as citizens. Saying that the youth needed permanent jobs and not transient jobs, urging that the government to poise the one district, one factory policy to enhance the youth, especially, the NabCo beneficiaries.
Speaking in an interview on Tain FM, Yaa-Asantewaa accounted that the programmes that have been initiated by the President Akufo-Addo led NPP government seems to snigger Ghanaians, hence the sober of most Ghanaian youth not grasping the initiatives aimed for them.
She added, "Contrary to Akufo-Addo's government fanciful promises to create jobs for the teeming youth, they have rather increased unemployment situation through the collapse of businesses, therefore struggling to get daily meals and saddled with unbearable taxes to further worsen previous living standards".

The NDC women organizer hopeful noted that the state of the Ghanaian youth under this current government is in hopelessness and clueless on how to address the challenges facing the youth in the country.
"Today, we have the largest youth population in history and the majority of them are committed to sustainable development with their knowledge, talents and ambitions, but there is no conducive agendas to create better world for themselves," she cited.

"As a country, there should be adequate preparedness for the youth through deliberate policy actions to play positive and pivotal role in realizing a youth beyond aid in the country, urging that failing in the policy action regards may serve as breeding grounds in reversing the gains made in the current dispensations of the country's democratic governance," she noted.
